WHAT IS THE PLAN FOR 2021
I want to intern at a fabric supplier company (well established one) as to be involved in a chain of right fabric sourcing and gaining knowledge of how sourcing operates. I want KQ_MADE to have a solid base, therefore finding the right fabric suppliers will be the next step, because quality starts from fabrication. I respect my craft; therefore, I want to find a CMT (Cut Make and Trim) that will contribute full energy to the brand’s pattern innovation techniques, from cutting to construction.
After a period of 8 months:
I will gather all the skills and knowledge I have gained from both college and work to create, what I would refer to as KQ_MADE’s opening collection( Autumn/winter 22/23)
The remaining months will be dedicated to the design process, pattern making and manufacturing, so that when winter comes, everything will be in place, meaning the brand will be ready for showcasing and selling

ENTREPRENEURSHIP ACADEMY
TO OUR COMMUNITY
Participants to select 1 of the 4 sectors based on the problem they are interested in solving and not necessarily the sector which they have been educated to work in.
STUDIOS
The 4 sectors will form the 4 Studio for the duration of the programme. Each Studio will introduce the current problems it faces in its sector.
This is aimed at training individuals to leverage off their transferable skills, in order to access opportunities across disciplines.
Participants will then be required to produce an innovative solution to a given problem within their studio.
